The following is the minimum requried of all submissions to New Orleans Improv Festival.

We will not accept applications postmarked after August 1st, 2008.

  • Video: A 20-30 minute unedited VHS or DVD video, in front of an audience, depicting the type of show you would expect to perform.
  • Completed application letter: That letter should include...
    • Troupe Name and a brief history.
    • Show Name and a brief description.
    • Number of players who will attend the festival.
    • A brief explanation of why you'd like to attend. No pressure.
    • The name, email address, and phone number of a primary contact.
  • Application Fee: $25 per group (must accompany your video and application letter)
    All fees are non-refundable. Please make all checks or money orders out to La Nuit.
  • Registration Fee: $40 per person - this pays for ALL YOUR BEER, ALL WEEKEND and two workshops of your choice.
  • Slot Requests: We assemble our calendar according to the needs of the festival. Just count on being here all weekend
    rather than requesting a great timeslot and getting back on your plane. We'll bring an audience to every show, we promise.
    If you have circumstances that require you to perform at a certain time we will consider that but we can't guarantee anything.

PLEASE! Do not make your check out to anything but La Nuit.
We are unlikely to consider an application with a check that we cannot process.
